はじめに
このブログではもう既に何回も登場しているジョニー・ティロットソン（Johnny Tillotson）の63年のヒット曲。
本国よりもむしろ日本で人気が高かった。日本でのデビュー曲がこの曲である。日本では伊東ゆかり他がカバーしている。
ジョニー・ティロットソンに関する詳しい内容は当ブログの別記事「ポエトリー」に書いたので参考にしてほしい。ここでは省略する。
日本だけで63年にこの曲がヒットしたため、米国での60年の全米2位のヒット曲「Poetry In Motion」を邦題「ポエトリー」として64年になって発売し、これも日本でヒットした。
もう一つの日本でのヒット曲「プリンセスプリンセス（Princess Princess）」も当ブログの別記事で取り上げている。
この曲は日本で63年にシングルカットされるとＴＢＳ－ＴＶのランキング番組で8月に最高位7位までいった。米国では1961年「Without You」のＢ面で全くヒットしなかった。
